I was commissioned to make a baby quilt for a gal’s first grand baby… I made this little quilt as a wallhanging and thought it would be a sweet baby quilt. The pattern is from “Quilts With Style” March/April 2007… I moved things around a bit, and enlarged it to 130%. I added the checkerboard border and am ready to add the final outside border. Then sandwich and eat, er… quilt. It’s a relief to have this almost finished!!!

That’s where I get scared… The quilting… I’m getting more confident with it at least!

But you do so well…..”They” say it’s the first step (stitch?) that’s the hardest and after that it’s a ‘breeze’! I have a tendency to agree with that. Staring at a sandwiched quilt, ready to receive those first stitches, can be daunting! YOU CAN DO IT!!!!! Hugs, D
