This is the first block of the new series at my local quilt store, Sew and Save. It will be 12 blocks that we make over the next year… The fabrics are really fun! They’re flannel with a wool fabric print. Maybe I’ll back it with wool! It really looks fall’ish to me, so I love it! (This time of year I’m always inspired to make fall things! And halloween, if you haven’t noticed!)Poukie had to give it the scratch test… It passed with flying fall colors!
It’s due on Saturday, and I’ve had a month to finish it. Nothing like waiting until the last minute! LOL!
Thanks for visiting! Keep on stitching…

Ya, I know where you’re coming from! I have lots of deadlines approaching and not a ton of time to get them done! Plus I got another commission piece today… Which is good!

So understand the conflict! Commissioned work= +(plus)$$$ ” Pleasure sewing”(!)= -(minus)$$$

Just got back from a quilt shop (and a heap of rationalizing!). But am supplied with material for G. Grand daughter’s Christmas gift(s) and DIL/DS gift. Now to figure out the pattern to use!!! Haven’t decided how “negative” the $$ amount is….yet!!! Hehe!
