What I’ve been working on…, a photo by ruthiequilts on Flickr.

I was commissioned to make a baby quilt for a gal’s first grand baby… I made this little quilt as a wallhanging and thought it would be a sweet baby quilt. The pattern is from “Quilts With Style” March/April 2007… I moved things around a bit, and enlarged it to 130%. I added the checkerboard border and am ready to add the final outside border. Then sandwich and eat, er… quilt. It’s a relief to have this almost finished!!!

That is so sweet and Spring-y! The checkerboard border suits it perfectly! Such a fun project….should be a fun one to quilt, too!-b
