Quilt Show and workshop!!!

Today I attended a workshop taught by Helen Butler, applique/quilter extraordinaire at the Box Elder Museum in Brigham City…  While we were there, we got to see the fabulous quilt show!  The lighting wasn’t the best for photography, so some of the pictures haven’t made it into my blog.  IMG_1130  Here’s Denise and Leslie riveted by Helen Butler.  She is just amazing!IMG_1133  I have done several different types of applique.  She teaches traditional needle turn method.  She also provided a pattern with some reverse applique sections.  Mine is so far from done it’s funny!  LOL!

Here is one of Helen Butlers whole cloth quilts…IMG_1128

Amazingly enough, she did this on a home machine just like mine!!!  Hmmm…  Mine don’t look like that.  🙂  IMG_1141

Here’s another of her quilts…  This one is titled, “Turkish Delight”.  Again, she quilted it on her home machine.  She also adds trapunto.  Here’s a little close-up of her quilting.IMG_1142I also wanted to show you all some other wonderful quilts at the show!   This quilt is called “Circles of Life by Linda French.???????????????????????????????

Here are a couple of close-ups of the quilting!IMG_1152

IMG_1154Lovely work!!!  Linda French also did this amazingly fun quilt called, “Marble Mania”IMG_1155  I don’t know if you can see all the fun faces on the marbles, but it is so cute!  It has a few 3-D elements as well!

And last, but in no way least, is this amazing quilt

by Lenore Crawford titled, “La Poet Laval”.

I just love landscape type of quilts, and this is amazing!!!???????????????????????????????

Thank you all for stopping by!  I hope you enjoyed yourselves as much as I did!  Quilt on!
