This is what I’m working on for my partner in the FLiRTS swap on flickr… My secret partner picked 5 items that she would like. I pick from those 5 items which to make for her/him. It’s taking shape at last! But what will it become? Time will tell!

A little embroidery on linen…
February 6, 2013Fab Little Quilt Swap Received!
September 9, 2012Today was Second Saturday at Sew and Save, my local quilt store! I started the day out with a yummy breakfast at Cracker Barrel with my nurse/quilt friend, Liz… From there we drove the short distance to Sew and Save to show them our finished block of the month, and to pick up next month’s block. While we were there, I bought a yard of snow flake fabric so I could finally make myself a winter quilt like 2 that I swapped last winter. (They had cute little paper pieced penguins and snowmen on them!)
When I got home from Sew and Save there was a mailing tube on my doorstep! Inside the tube, was this beautiful little quilt made by Quiltingcyclist in the Fab Little Quilt Swap on flickr. I just love linen, and the colored embroidery threads really makes this little gem! Thanks Mona!
