If you know me, you may ask yourself, “Why would she make these simple, yet clashy blocks?” I’d answer, “They’re for quilt guild a week from Thursday!”

Our next sew-in will be spent playing bingo. These are our bingo blocks… The idea is to take red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple and combine them with the following themes: Plaids, solids, striped, stars, floral, 30’s prints, paisleys, batiks, and leaves.

My friend Denise and I got together and cut out a slew of squares and then traded them so we’d get mulitple blocks… A week from Thurday, we’ll be playing bingo. Imagine, if you will: Yellow floral, red batik, blue stripe, Bingo!

When done playing bingo, we’ll gather up the blocks and make them into 2 quilts, 1 for charity, and 1 to raffle off for our guild. (Believe it or not, they all look great together with a plain dark sashing!)

Thanks for stopping by my blog! I’ve been dang busy with some fun things I’ve been working on! I’ll share more as I get further into it!!! Stitch on…
